Shane Tickell brings over two decades of experience in roles at all levels in the clinical software sector, mainly as CEO of Mission Critical EPR, Health and Data companies. Shane is a health technology strategist, leading three companies in the sector and supporting several - not for profits - in their sharing of Health and Care knowledge, as well as risk and health screening.

He has been voted by his peers to be 2025-26 Chair of Tech UK Health & Social Care Council . The council of 25 represents over 400 health technology companies, of all sizes, operating in the UK Health, Care and Life Sciences sectors.

Shane has been appointed the only Industry Representative on the NHS Ten Year Plan Working Group for Digital , Dat and Technology, working under the Secretary for State of Health and Social Care Wes Streeting and the Group Co- Chairs for the NHS.

Sarah Bruce

Sarah Bruce has been at the forefront of health tech communications for over 17 years. She spearheaded the international media division for HIMSS, where she was instrumental in launching publications and leadership events that would give suppliers a bespoke route to market as well as running the organisations communications team. Prior to that, she held roles as a senior account director at a healthcare agency and as a trained multimedia journalist, she led an editorial team at the UK’s leading digital health publication.

Dean Mawson has over 18 years of experience in NHS Clinical Risk Management, collaborating with NHS Digital and leading figures in digital health. He has contributed to NHS Clinical Safety & Risk Management Systems, ensuring core safety principles are integrated into organizational practices, laying the groundwork for health informatics over the next decade. Dean is now Clinical Director of DPM Digital Health Consultancy Ltd, formed in 2018. He previously spent 11 years as a Clinical Safety Officer for a major digital health manufacturer, with NHS roles as Staff Nurse, Charge Nurse, Ward Manager, Admissions Coordinator, and Care Pathway Facilitator. His expertise includes risk management and compliance with national safety standards DCB0129/DCB0160. A Fellow of the British Computer Society, Dean is also a member of the Clinical Safety Special Interest Group Leadership Committee and has completed a postgraduate course in AI Concepts: Practical Applications at the University of Oxford.
